The 102 Minerals: Full Reference List
Our Creator formed the human body as a living temple, built from the same elemental substance woven throughout the earth itself. Dr. Sebi taught that this temple is composed of 102 minerals, drawn from the first 102 elements of the periodic table — a reflection of how intimately we are connected to the ground we walk on and the world we were placed in. This is the complete list, arranged in 6 columns of 17.

What These Minerals Actually Do
We approach this list with reverence and humility. Man does not yet fully comprehend the depth of what God has created — our understanding of these elements continues to unfold. What we do know, we share honestly: many of these minerals nourish and sustain the body in beautiful, essential ways. Others exist in creation for purposes not meant for human consumption, and we honor that boundary rather than overstate what we do not know. Here is where each one stands, to the best of our current understanding.
Essential Minerals — The Body’s Nourishing Foundation
These minerals are woven into the very design of the body, each one a gift supporting the way we were made to function.
- Calcium — Bone and teeth structure, muscle contraction, nerve signaling, blood clotting
- Phosphorous — Bone and teeth structure, cellular energy (ATP), DNA/RNA structure
- Potassium — Fluid balance, nerve transmission, muscle function, heart rhythm
- Sodium — Fluid balance, nerve transmission, muscle function
- Chlorine — Fluid balance, stomach acid production (as chloride)
- Magnesium — Over 300 enzyme reactions, muscle and nerve function, bone structure
- Sulphur — Component of amino acids, protein structure, detoxification pathways
- Iron — Oxygen transport via hemoglobin, energy metabolism
- Zinc — Immune function, wound healing, enzyme activity, taste/smell
- Copper — Iron metabolism, connective tissue formation, nerve function
- Manganese — Bone formation, antioxidant enzyme function, metabolism
- Iodine — Thyroid hormone production, metabolic regulation
- Selenium — Antioxidant defense, thyroid hormone metabolism
- Chromium — Supports insulin function and glucose metabolism
- Molybdenum — Cofactor for several essential enzymes
- Fluorine — Dental enamel strength (as fluoride)
- Boron — Bone health, supports hormone metabolism
- Cobalt — Core component of vitamin B12
- Silicon — Connective tissue and bone formation
Foundational Elements — Building Blocks of Life’s Molecules
- Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen — Not “minerals” in the supplement sense, but the foundational atoms of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, and DNA itself. Obtained through food and water, not mineral supplementation.
Trace Presence — Still Unfolding
These elements are present in the body in small amounts, and our understanding of their purpose is still growing. Some show promising signs in early research; none are yet considered necessary to seek out on their own. We hold space for what may yet be discovered here.
